This policy explains how Daisy’s Batteries LLC handles information connected with this website, DB’s stations, customer support, rentals, and venue or advertising inquiries.

Effective upon public launch • Last updated September 20, 2026

1. Who we are

Daisy’s Batteries LLC is an Illinois limited liability company operating the DB’s portable power-bank rental service. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to info@daisysbatteries.com.

2. Information we may collect

  • Rental and transaction information: station and power-bank identifiers, checkout and return times, rental status, prices, adjustments, and payment status.
  • Contact information: email address, phone number, or other details you provide during checkout, support, venue, partnership, or advertising inquiries.
  • Payment information: payment details are processed by our payment provider. DB’s may receive a transaction identifier, payment status, card brand, expiration details, and limited card information such as the last four digits, but does not intend to store complete card numbers or security codes.
  • Support records: messages, photographs, receipts, and other information you submit to resolve a rental, return, damage, or billing issue.
  • Website and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, timestamps, referring pages, security logs, and similar technical information collected by hosting, security, and analytics providers when enabled.
  • Daisy virtual assistant: Daisy uses preset answers in your browser. Questions entered into Daisy are not sent to an artificial-intelligence provider or stored by DB’s. If you choose “Text our team,” your device opens its messaging app with a draft that you may review before sending; your mobile carrier and messaging app then process the text.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, monitor, and complete rentals and returns.
  • Process payments, authorization holds, refunds, and disputes.
  • Provide customer support and investigate equipment, safety, fraud, or billing issues.
  • Maintain station inventory, uptime, security, and service quality.
  • Respond to venue, advertising, partnership, and general inquiries.
  • Comply with law, enforce our policies, and protect customers, venues, DB’s, and service providers.
  • Measure website and service performance using aggregated or limited analytics when enabled.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We may share information with companies that help operate DB’s, including payment processors such as Stripe where used, station and rental-software providers, cloud hosting and security providers, communications providers, professional advisers, and venue partners when reasonably necessary to investigate a location-specific issue. These providers receive information for operational purposes and are subject to their own contracts and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, to prevent fraud, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets. DB’s does not sell personal information for money. If our practices change, we will update this policy before applying the change.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for rental operations, support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may differ by record type and service provider. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no system or transmission method is completely secure.

6. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information that DB’s controls, subject to identity verification and legal or operational retention requirements. You may also opt out of non-transactional marketing emails through the message instructions or by contacting us. Send requests to info@daisysbatteries.com.

7. Children

The rental service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must complete and accept a rental for a minor. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

8. External services and policy changes

Payment, station, map, social-media, and other third-party services may have separate privacy policies. We may update this policy as the service, providers, or law changes. The posted “last updated” date identifies the current version.
