Charge responsibly

Safety &
acceptable use.

Follow these rules whenever you use a DB’s station or portable power bank. Stop using a unit immediately if it appears unsafe.

Effective upon public launch • Last updated September 20, 2026

1. Inspect before use

Do not use a power bank that is cracked, swollen, punctured, wet, unusually hot, leaking, smoking, sparking, or giving off an unusual odor. Do not use a damaged connector or cable. Return the unit if safe to do so and contact support.

2. Safe charging

  • Use only the built-in or compatible connector intended for your device.
  • Keep the power bank dry and away from sinks, pools, rain, open flames, heaters, direct high heat, and hot vehicles.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear. Do not cover the unit with bedding, clothing, or other insulating material while charging.
  • Disconnect and stop use if the power bank or device becomes unusually hot or behaves abnormally.
  • Keep the power bank away from infants and small children.

3. Prohibited use

Do not open, crush, puncture, bend, modify, repair, paint, relabel, submerge, burn, intentionally drop, or tamper with a power bank or station. Do not remove identifying marks, bypass payment or return systems, rent for resale, or use the equipment for an unlawful purpose.

4. Emergencies and damaged batteries

If a unit is smoking, burning, swelling, leaking, or creating an immediate danger, move away, alert venue staff, and call 911 or local emergency services. Do not handle a burning or leaking lithium battery and do not place it in household trash. After the immediate danger is addressed, call (618) 604-0956 or notify support@daisysbatteries.com.

5. Important limitations

DB’s power banks are consumer charging accessories. They are not medical devices, emergency-power systems, or guaranteed power for life-safety, navigation, or other critical uses. Maintain an independent backup plan for critical communications or equipment.

6. Return and reporting

Return the power bank to a compatible participating DB’s station by the deadline in the Rental Terms. Report damage, overheating, a failed return, or a station hazard promptly. Do not continue using a unit after a safety concern appears.
